what happened: Vipin Kumar, a Chakbandi officer was shot multiple times in Sarai Dayanat in Etawah around midnight.
what it means: He along with a colleague Kamlesh Tiwari were returning from Lucknow in a private vehicle. Kamlesh told the police about the murder. Vipin was posted in Etawah since 2016 and was newly married.
what next: Police have taken Kamlesh and the vehicle driver into custody for questioning.
